Walk of Ages 2018: Let's Be on the Path Together
I'll be going on another trek this year in the UK. This June we'll be walking through the Lake District of northwest England. I'm making this into a fundraiser for our friends at Choice In Aging - the same organization that we raised money for during our walk in 2016. This non-profit provides support services to our seniors who suffer from dementia and other debilitating illnesses. They do God's work (however you define god - they do that deity's work). They are saints (or angels, sprites, faeries, green people, do-gooders, enlightened folk, etc) and they need our help to fund their programs. Again - calling this the Walk of Ages. I'm looking to raise $10,000.
For every person that I am walking in memory or in honor of, I will attach a purple ribbon to my backpack. Let's get my backpack covered in ribbons!
All of us have friends or family members who have struggled terribly with dementia. Choice In Aging is a local non-profit that directly cares for people in our community. Please give them your support.
