Be a Hero to an Aging Adult — Donate Today!
Choice in Aging was founded in 1949 to promote dignity and independence of older adults, people with disabilities, and other complex needs.
We provide health and social services to people with Alzheimer’s and dementia, serious disabilities and complicated health conditions that risk them being forced into a skilled nursing facility. Our nurses, social workers, therapists and the rest of our amazingly dedicated staff help people continue to live at home by providing socialization and care, coordinating with health providers and supporting caregivers.
Our Choice in Learning Montessori Preschool bridges the gap between the young and the old, providing the opportunity for activities that bring the generations together, creating joy and laughter in all our participants’ lives and busting ageism before it can take root.
During the COVID crisis we’ve literally provided a lifeline for some of the most vulnerable people in our society who were isolated and alone.
We are dedicated to the work we do and the people we serve, using our expertise as advocates to fight for resources and policies to support those who might otherwise be forgotten. We will never stop caring for the most vulnerable members of our community or working on their behalf.
Please join us in the fight. Thank you for your support!
We were honored to be recognized by Assemblyman Tim Grayson
as the 2019 Nonprofit of the Year.
